President
David Fulgham
David has worked in urban forestry management since 1992, oversees urban forestry projects in eight southern states, and recently served as an advisor to the EPA regarding tree preservation on super-fund sites. He earned a B.S. in Golf and Sports Turf Management and a M.S. in Urban Forestry. He is certified as an ISA Certified Arborist and tree risk assessor and has pesticide certifications in three states.
Vice-President
Joe Loftus
Joe has a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Landscape Management Technology. He started Lofco Inc. in 1983, and has been working in the green industry for over 40 years. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, tree risk assessor, and has a landscape and tree surgery license in the state of Mississippi.
Secretary
Kevin Locke
Kevin has worked for the City of Meridian since 2002 as a Senior Planner and also serves as the city’s Urban Forester. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University in 1997. He holds a MS Landscape Horticulturist License, is an ISA Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist, and holds the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
Treasurer
Joshua Granger
Joshua Granger is an assistant professor in the Department of Forestry at Mississippi State University. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of Nebraska, and M.S. in Statistics and Ph.D. in Forestry from the University of Tennessee. He is a Registered Forester in Mississippi, an ISA Certified Arborist, and SAF Candidate Certified Forester.
